Who We Are
The Corona Police Officers Association (CPOA) is a professional police organization comprised of dedicated men and women with the Corona Police Department. We strive to strengthen the community where we reside and serve through partnerships with local businesses and community groups.
Supporting our youth is one of our priorities because they are our future of our city. We work to give back to youth in Corona in a variety of ways, including hands-on activities with at-risk children, collecting Christmas gifts for kids who may not receive them otherwise, and participating in Run With ACOP.
Run With ACOP is a Corona police department program that supports the Anti Childhood Obesity Project while also allowing officers to build relationships with students. It educates young people on the importance of healthy lifestyles and creates strong community partnerships.
The CPOA is also an active supporter of victim protection and advocacy. One of our primary causes is the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), which is dedicated to providing support to emotionally traumatized citizens immediately after tragedy strikes.
In addition to all of the programs and causes we support, the CPOA was founded to enhance working conditions for the men and women of the Corona Police Department. With good working conditions, we are able to keep strong talent and stay well-staffed, which keeps Corona safer. We are also very politically active and have fought against state initiatives like Prop 47 and Assembly Bill 109 because they are detrimental to the safety of our community by allowing criminals to be released.
We are grateful to be members of the Corona community as employees and residents and will continue to protect and serve you as our neighbors.
